Your Voice MATTERS!

Your input will guide how $1 million dollars allocated to your district will be spent. This may be your last chance to share your priorities with your district representative, so we highly urge you to come prepared and fill out this survey!

The Budget Justice Coalition along the Raise the Roof Coalition, and the Collective Care Coalition (convened by RYSE, Ensuring Opportunity, Family Justice Center, and Root and Bloom), together compiled a set of urgent community priorities, which were shared with the Board of Supervisors.

You may or may not align with these priorities and encourage you identify what is important for you to see in your community.

  • Funding to restore the cuts to the County’s rental assistance programs over the last two years and address the growing need for county residents

  • Funding to address the dearth of supports for youth and young adults facing housing and economic insecurity

  • Invest in seed funding to establish a Contra Costa Collective Care Fund. The Fund will focus on priority areas, including food and 3 essential supplies, economic stabilization and recovery, health and healing, education and learning, and social and legal services.
