The annual Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Board Budget Retreat is an important component of the County’s budgeting process. It features presentations on the general economic outlook for the county and the region, a budget preview by the County Administrator, and various special topics.
For the first time ever, the Contra Costa Budget Justice Coalition will make a presentation on social and economic inequities in the county and the priorities of those most in need.
This is an important opportunity for the community to learn more about the budget outlook and process and to provide input to help influence the county’s budget priorities.
PLEASE JOIN US ON MARCH 24, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
An agenda with timing specifics, including opportunities for public comment, will be available on the Board’s website a few days prior to the retreat.
For more information, contact the Contra Costa Budget Justice Coalition at dan@budgetjusticecc.org.
Join us March 19th for a special event sponsored by the Contra Costa Budget Justice Coalition - a conversation with Anna Roth, Director of Health Services and Kathy Gallagher, Director of Employment and Human Services Department.
The Directors will share their views on the needs in Contra Costa, trends and changes on the horizon, 2021 budget considerations, how they prioritize programs in their budget planning, and how the community can provide input.
